I'm looking for a high temperature transmitter/switch that has an operating range of up to +500 °C. I found a TURCK option but it is $300. Do you have any cheaper recommendations?

There's always a risk involved when buying new old stock drives. Especially the capacitors need to be reformed if the drive has been sitting on a shelf for more than a year. Did your drive come with a warranty?
What model of ABB drive did you buy? ABB came out with a new micro drive last year...
I've always had trouble with Yaskawa servos. They produce really good industrial VFDs but I cannot say the same about their servos. I've recently started using Panasonic servos and been very impressed by them, especially Minas A5 series.
