@slim_boy_fat no...no gas leak
@. the gas isn't shutting off (well I suppose it would if I didn't turn it off there is a thermocouple on the front of the first panel)
and there is no pilot
you connect the gas up turn it on push the button on the thermocouple to let the gas through...
i have a problem with the heater pictured
it will light and run great on 1..2.. or 3 panels lit
but then it throws a hissy fit and the flame jumps back to just above the jet on the first panel
any ideas ?????
As its already been said plenty of ptfe tape, boss white, or locktight sealant
tighten it to the position you want dont back it off once tightened
possibly make a bracket so it doesn't get moved when being used and therefore breaking the seal
I wouldn't worry about the threads poking up into...
conrod bent!!! i might have some ts350 08S bits hiding in one of the garages ..... used to have box's and box's of stuff but cant remember whats left
ill have a rummage and see what i can find
how deep did you go into the strip down of the saw?
is the main case intact crank and bearings ok?
you could try throwing a cheap barrel and piston at it and see what happens :dontknow:
