Can tweco 5 torches still be bought? Used them for a long time and recently trying to purchase a new one and kind find anything online aside from spare parts
I Use nr 211 and 232. 232 is great for heavy stuff, terrible if you've got light plate or gaps.
211 is nice for general purpose and light stuff but a lot slower. Better appearance also on the 211
Ive only ever welded pipe in a 5g position never had the pipe at 45 degrees but im a year working with an asme ix welder and i must say hes **** hot at pipe, hes thought me a lot and im improving all the time, hopefully one day il get to where i want to be, im well able put in my root, hotpass...

I work as an apprentice welder fitter so i weld everything. But at the moment were making machinery for the bogs. Welding heavy hardox plate around 350 amps wont chance a 10 for that. It depends i could be using a different welder every day. We have 11 migs in the worshop
i have a problem. im going through about 3 black, shade 12 welding lenses a day :o :welder: i dont mind as they are cheap but its a pain in the a:clapping:rse. i tried using the clear glass lenses in front of it but i find it harder to see out of. i was thing of trying antispatter :rolleyes...

cheers guys. picked one of these up for 300 euro with a 4 and a half inch hitachi grinder. good deal. very happy with the best little welder ive ownd burns 4mm rods all day horizontal and uphand no bother. getting a tig torch soon methinks :welder:
