It don't matter really. Just carry on. There is more than one stamping of a vin number on a vehicle. Some are well hidden so as if it were stolen and recovered a detailed inspection would find them. There will be one on the dash visible through the windscreen or on a plate on B pillar or slam...
Thats really handy, I made something similar a few years ago. But as with mine that top drawer WILL drive you mad. Every time you want to open it that bloody vice handle will ALWAYS be vertical especially when summats clamped in it so you can't open the drawer to get at a tool to use on the bit...
,Here's how we do it at our MoT bay.
A car can't fail MoT for having aftermarket HID's fitted instead of origonal halogens. There was talk about it bein a fail last year during all the changes that came in but it never materialised to our horror!
Vehicles with factory fitted hid's must have auto...
Has it worked as it is now? If not post a better pic of the top box. 4 wires out the alternator are 2 windings off the stator, 110v is the 2 windings in parallel & 220v is the 2 windings in series.
I recently binned all my generator manuals annd drawings as I not used em for about 15 yrs.
It does look like a Markon generator. Possibly an SC21
If the rotor hasn't been removed from the stator or vise versa I doubt it will have lost residual magnetism.
The aluminium box filled with resin with 4 treminals on it is the favorite culprit. It's an AVR (automatic voltage tegulator)
I...
If it's not switched on it's likely to be the mains filter just inside the machine where the mains lead goes in. Temporary disconect it an join the mains lead live & nuetral to the live & nuteral going to the main on/off switch or timer. Then try it
The rules on MoT is if a suspension arm , as that is, is they can be repaired by welding as long as
*The welding is sound and the component being repaired was origonally welded during it's manufacture. It would not be acceptable for a pressed and "rolled" together arm to be welded as it wasn't...
If its got points under the flywheel. There is a plastic/fibre pin that operates the points as a pushrod off the cam on the crankshaft. It's prone to sticking in it's hole if engine has been stood. Twist it out clean it with a scotch cloth, oil it n put it back.
Also fog lamps are designated by height from the floor IIRC it's 550mm. That is below 550mm they are fog light and above 550mm they are driving or spot lights
Best thing to do is tell your bank youv'e lost your debit card. They will send you another one with a different issue number so any reccuring transactions on yer old card can't be got.
IIRC the bank wont stop or reissue a card because of a reccuring payment, they tell you to contact the payee...
Our snap on ethos works on our 322 range rover td6
You have to input the vehicle. Start off with europeon vehicles then landrover etc. Eventually it list's all the controllers, select airbags etc
