Yeah attach the images using the 'Add Photographs' button, but you can then insert the pics wherever you want to in your post using the insert image button at the top of the box then selecting the image you uploaded.

I've been following this build from the start, all I can say is; wow. The detail and finishing is second to none.
I've never seen or heard of a through-frame fitting, but looking at what you've made there I bet if I researched them I wouldn't be able to find a nicer one :clapping:
I made a very similar one to TIG Paul, I saw pics of his and liked the simple to make hinges especially as I already had the metal lying around so did something very similar indeed!

Couple of these:
£8.14 in B&Q. Easy to replace when they break them. Hopefully they'll get bored. It also stops the yoofs just using it as a smoking shelter.

I made the guard, they are used in america on Dana 66 axles all the time, very common over there, not here and expensive to import really.

Thank you for the replies, I was clearly thrown off by the apparently double acting ram - it's isn't really. I wonder if they use the 'retract' part of the ram to regulate the use of fluid and also to store it. Not sure. Anyway I disconnected the jack from the table on my radial drill, bolted...
I'll have another play then and report back, i'll try it with weight on it, perhaps thats the issue, it needs a bit of a load? I'll jack the bed of my radial drill up and see what it does.
Well these clearly aren't ideal to use as anything except cab tilt hydraulics!!!
