I've had both, cebora any time, yes the feed weren't great but the weld was great, r-tech was OK but don't why after been on it quite bit it seem to me doesn't put good weld down, but then cebora a transformer where the r-tech is a inverter..
I've use a 150 super mig searly a good little machine but I bit heavy now for me so going for an inverter don'tno which as they most are Chinese but then what isn't these days
To be honest, you said you a beginner of mig welding, well before you start thinking of doing ally stuff, get some experience first, like what been said as well on here get it done by expert see then for your self ask questions watch how it's done do night classes for it..
Hi
Have u looked at the hotbox, I know it's a Chinese but not all crap, sound a good solid great welding machine, I think they multi use, go on u tube see what u think very light, small and cheap.
Funny enough mention under car, and saying Chinese inverters crap, a old friend of mine got one of those powermat 210s, he had it since September last year on it all time doing motor vehicles does good welds asnt let him down, very light and easy packed away he loves it
Em, well I've had the cebora years ago always thought they were great turned down, but wire feed some time a bit weird use to clogg up but given great welds
Don't no if its a full breed Lincoln but I've had the old 170 and it was a cracking welder other 2 well they large and heavy machines so if u be doing mobile think about the Lincoln if u stable for me be Oxford, also I used a searly 150 a smaller machine welds realy good apart from the wire feed...
Got to admit 1 thing with searly is the wire speed can be a bit mardy, I did phone searly up and ask if it was possible to convert it to a euro torch, he said no something to do with diodes and a bored something like that told me if wanting euro torch to get the bigger model which then way too...
Ive used a searly 150 super mig can carry bottle on back lift and drag, no probs at all had good neat welds only probs is its heavy to lift in and out, but then it's what u can handle best with.
If u only doing thin stuff, why not go for a inverter as they do have euro torch and they realy light OK they may be Chinese but u can fall for a good 1
