Price seems ok to me. Quote to clean moss from our bungalow in Scotland was north of 1k a couple years back … half that was scaffolding from memory and I’m guessing your chap isn’t using scaffolding if it’ll be done in a day. My moss is still there I think … it helps insulate the roof in winter.
Well got the final panels on yesterday. This dibond stuff is probably my latest favorite material to work with. Brilliant stuff. Inspection this morning shows no water coming in so very happy. Just need to make the ramps for each side for the kart, put mudguards etc on and we are done - and I’ll...
Definitely take the valve core out. I usually have someone blowing air in (have to hold my adapter on rather than it clips on if that makes sense) and then thump the tyre around its circumference with a fist usually it will grab and inflate. Ratchet strap sometimes. Have to do a lot of kart...
I’m trying to have a clear out and in particular strip down a set of shelves to create space. I seem to have a huge pile of power tool cases taking up space on several shelves - most the tools themselves are out and being used.
Why do I need to keep them (not planning on ever selling any of...
Ordered the composite panel and rivets etc to arrive for Friday. Hopefully have a new skin by the weekend !
2 questions : anyone know how to cut this aluminium composite stuff (@Matchless do you use it often?) and what’s a good sealant to use between it and the frame - RTV.?
In that case I’d definitely look at them. Easily swaps from car to car and has a “bumper” that slots in and uses the seatbelt. Meant to be far better for whiplash injuries (I did A LOT of research but I’ll let you draw your own conclusions).
What age child / seat ? We used / still use the Kiddy GuardianPro I think it’s called. From when they move out of the capsule (6months???). My 7 and 9 year old still use them - it grows with them. Non isofix and uses the seatbelt to secure them.
This thread has spurred lots of reading and searching by me - trying to establish the actual rules. Wow. I consider myself relatively experienced when it comes to interpreting regulations etc but this seems to be an absolute minefield. What I do notice is a lot of interpretation of the supposed...
Starting to take shape. Regretting using ally skins on the doors but had already bought them by the time I was introduced to the composite stuff. Have found a supplier of the alpanel for the sides and top which will make it all a lot simpler and lighter most probably.
I got a set of them after a recommendation on here (might have been @Brad93 ?). Just been using them this weekend. I found that a 6mm transfer punch won’t go inside a m6 tapped hole though ….
What is the legal position ? My searches dont seem conclusive- the box trailer I’m doing some work to at the moment is home built at some stage in the past. I suspect 15+ years. I don’t think manufacturers plates and certifications were required until quite recently ?
