I'll try to get a weekend pass from the sarge, shouldn't be difficult I'll just promise her a good payout from my life insurance. She's pretty much disowned me now anyway (this i'm led to believe is quite normal in these circumstances).
chunko, that will come to be regarded as a classic in years to come. Scheweeeeeeeaat.
would there be even the remotest possibility of my lowrider getting down this hill? Will deffo need better brakes i think, and plenty of cidration.
aye alrite jase, what you doing ere?
Get it built mate, you know it makes ****** all sense.
Got some stuff that don't work, like brakes and gears if you want em. No chain though.
Isn't it funny how looks deceive??
Remember what they used to say BSA stood for?
Tallbike? No freakin way. I seen the picture of you mountain biking on one. I need to be stopped from those sort of shinanagans, too many dangerous passtimes as it is.
Well it's finished and it rides surprisingly well, until there's an incline when the weight and awful gearing becomes painfully apparent.
Anyhow, apologies to Chunko for the wierd colouration of the finished steel, just thought it might help it from turning to 5hit after being in the rain.
i have a Clarke 151 en and like has been said it won't do anything above 4mm without some prep but I love mine and am really pleased. Its my first welder and feel that I have (with plenty of help and advice from here) managed to produce some decent welding.
I bought mine from a company called...
Just wondering whether this is going to be worth bothering with.
Just noticed after loaning my longboard to one of my son's mates that there's a chunk of aluminium been knocked out of one of the trucks where the king pin bush sits. Now, I could get a new set of trucks for it but I hate chucking...
No expert and still very much new to this but I'd unscrew the gas shroud, then try to unstick the wire or if no luck unscrew the tip, pull a few inches of wire through (with the tip still stuck) then snip it of and either replace the tip (pennies) or try to free it from the bit of snipped off...
I get my CO2 from Bratby gasses in Shrewsbury, £18.80 for a big bottle (3ft tall or there abouts) no rent no deposit. Might be someone similar near you.
Thanks for posting all the pics, I need one of those so that's what I'll be doing with all the box section I have left from my bike build I reckon. Top job fella. :clapping:
Now that's got to be done. :clapping:
I was thinking of a car wheel for number two build, chop out the centre and weld in some bars for spokes. Groovy!
