Don't know if any use but I've seen something on MK2 golfs where the light loom is cut into then a relay wired in and the lights then fed from the relay, this apparently improves the light output
Thanks Dapph I will look at the Rawl nuts, the felt pads I'm making myself from a thick felt Christmas table runner and glueing on properly, did same for table but that was just box section so cut feet slightly oversize and inserted with hammer
Thanks AKN I will look into them as an alternative
I'm replacing the feet on our kitchen stools with wood blocks and felt pads to stop scratching the floor. I have shaped the new feet to sit partially in the stool legs which are metal and tapered, and was thinking about using rubber hose a nut and bolt and a few washers to fit. Sort of a reverse...
Bought a Hitachi before hikoki rebrand and for DIY I find it a beast, my old hammer drill needed new bit and full weight behind it to drill holes in my house (ex council very hard bricks apparently)
Hitachi just gets on with it and makes holes without any fuss and it's the lower powered one

Thanks, I have read the chart, I didn't realise you could scroll across at 1st, I measured the rivnut and they are 14.5mm total length, the crush/hex area is 6mm, the hitting is to drive them in prior to tightening as the hex part doesn't go in when drilled to 7mm, I'm gonna try to crush one...
I'm going to try to get some 12.9 bolts as I have the above, it's got to be my current bolts not being upto the task, just had a look and they are 8.8 bolts
Unfortunately I'm in a rush (well my wife is becoming upset at not having a kitchen table) I just need to set these rivnuts so I can bolt the frame together and make a top for it
Mine wasn't too far from yours, the nut in the middle is larger so spins (milk bottle washers removed), why do you have the small nut on yours before the washer
