I have the warco 45 one. Not exactly bench top. I suspect itll end up hard to use if you bench mount, the head will end up higher than youd want for draw bar removal. At a guess mine is on a stand table probablt about 6 inches lower than the bench. Buy r8 if buying as more tooling options. The newer machines have slightly more table travel too, some have a vertical feed some dont. Ive done some quite complicated stuff on mine, im self taught.
There is an annoying bit of back lash on the quill, but i just lock it when milling, quite a common problem when you read the modeling forums with them all.
