Essentially is the same engine, the block is near on identical which made the transplant a lot less painful....the main difference is the heads, the original 75 v6 was 12v SOHC where as this one is 24v DOHC. Also the original had distributor fed ignition and this one is electronic coil over spark ignition.
There is a little more to it than that but it's very similar. Power is up from 192 to 220bhp on the standard unit but I'm hoping to see around 250+ from this once finished.
First of all i think this thread should probably be in projects now? If so could someone move it please?
The manifolds are now complete, learned a lot along the way and im sure there is probably a shed load more i could learn but this is the way i like to learn so im not complaining.
Overall im very happy with how they came out, despite the slight lack of symmetry (this was a case of necessity over styling really)
