had a look at the plama spider forum, had a read through some of the threads.
It seems to me (< disclaimer there) that yah, building/assembling it would be the easy part, wiring it also not -too- bad
and then the software would have me banging my head off a wall. But, after much banging, you would get the hang of it, and after that it would be a piece of p***.
Like a lot of what I've seen of the software world, it looks insurmountable on first approach, and for a period thereafter, and then once it 'clicks' your like, jeez it seems so simple, how come it took me so long to cop it...
