Hi Guys, just found this site and have spent a few hours having a browse.
My name is Alan and im a general fabricator and welder from West Sussex.
I do a bit of everything, mainly MIG but some TIG and also MMA for site work.
I have no formal training in welding (i do have general engineering qualifications up to HND) I started as a hobbiest but have spent the last two years helping out a good friend who is a professional fabricator and have just started welding as a proffesion due to a slow down of work in my 'day job' and his inability to keep up with the work he has coming in.
We do quite a lot of agricultural repair work and a LOT of trailer repairs.
In my spare time i am refurbising a 1947 Ferguson 'little grey' TE20 that belonged to my late grandfather.
I hope i can learn a lot here and be a useful member of your great site
Alan
