Hi guys,
I am new to this forum and I would really like some advice on buying an inverter welder for my home use, hobbies ect….
The whole idea is that the welder must be inverter based because of its size and ease of moving around, aprox. 200A and versatile as much it could be. That means that it should be capable of welding MIG, TIG and MMA. That is because I will use it for everything that I think of from welding steel, aluminum, sheet material, pipes …… It must have preloaded program for easy usage (material thickness ……..), because I do not have enough knowledge about getting the optimum right setup and good welding.
First I had an idea to buy some medium priced “china” inverter welder for around 500€-600€, that would have all of the mentioned futures. After some advising with sellers I talked with, they do not advise me china welders, because welding results are not so good, reliability are questionable, they have a tendency to brake a lot and so on….., they suggested me to buy quality brand welder (I know, taking advise from seller…….they make a living from selling expensive stuff, but still). Then after all I decided they were right, I am not rich enough to buy cheap stuff. I had to struggle a bit with myself comprehending higher prices of so called quality brands, but managed it over time.
So this is my narrower choice that I am choosing from:
Kemppi MinArcMig 200 http://www.kemppi.com/inet/kemppi/k...le/DS_MinarcMig_Evo_170_200_AD732_1212_EN.pdf
Cebora Monostar 1620/M http://www.cebora.it/art_304_presentazione_prod_uk.html
GYS Pearl XL 190.4 http://www.gys.fr/pdf/datasheet/uk/031999.pdf
All of the above machines are only MIG, which is my bad luck, but probably for some good reason.
Do any of you have experienced these machines first hand, how they weld, operate, quality……
Do you have any suggestion for any other machine that would maybe cheaper or more suitable for my needs?
Thank you for all your help .
PS:
At beginning at searching for a welder I found an interesting ”china” inverter welder with all my desired functions (MIG, MMA, even HF TIG) all in one. I almost bought it direct from China, arranged shipping, customs…, at the very end I changed my mind ,warranty, operation and so on (probably best?,). What do you think of it ? I can upload some video that seller sent me, if you are interested.
