Evening folks,
Just a quick one, recently got myself a tig welder and I am at a bit of a loss as to the state I should leave the gas in. With my mig set up I always shut off the main valve on bottle then purge off any remaining in the system by just pulling the trigger on the gun till all falls to zero.
I was reluctant to do this with the tig because I can hear the HF trying to fire and obviously not getting far. Am I okay just to shut off the main valve on the bottle? Will this be safe enough for the regulator?
Cheers...I will get some shots of my first tig welds up.
