Why hello there!
I'm working at The Bicycle Academy, we teach people to build bicycle frames using files and brazing techniques. We have been using the Weldability torch but they are starting to wear out rather rapidly. Also, the valves are poo gash! Basically just a plastic O ring and the torch self adjusts whenever it feels like it.
I'm after something a little better, maybe with needle valves or something similar. The ESAB rep paid us a visit and we tested their torch but it was not up to scratch. I'm currently looking at the BOC lightweight torch, but BOC are not very forthcoming in letting us try before we buy.
We will need five torches that will be used on a daily basis, and we will stock and sell the torch to our students too. So I want something good quality that I will enjoy using, and won't feel like a knob ripping off my students.
Cheers for any advice
