Seeing as how I'm determined to stick with gasless and Super Six seems to be the most readily available cheap stuff (but I know it's sometimes a bit duff), is there any more reliable supplier of similar wire that can produce better results?
I came across mention of the E71T-11 wires, which are supposedly better, made by Lincoln and Hobart, but not very cheap this side of the pond. Cheaply enough over there, but the shipping is a killer. What about an E71T-11 equivalent made in Europe or at least imported here and sold somewhere on a par with the GS wires?
I suppose I'll eventually attain a degree of familiarity withe SSix wire and sooner or later get consistent with it, but nearly everyone who's tried the other stuff (the -11) is singing its praises.
