I do like powder coating for small items as it seems to be less messy for me than painting, and once the part has been baked it can be used straight away. a few years ago I bought an Eastwoods HotCoat Powder coating kit.

I ended up using it with a small airbrush compressor that Ive had for 20 years and wasnt doing much, so I ended up fitting a mig welding tip to the top to vent excess pressure. I used this compressor as it is virtually silent and can be used day or night without annoying the neighbours
I'm do the coating outside in a plastic box, with a hooked brass rod going though it, that can be raised or lowered and rotated as required (to act as an earth). the scissors are just for show
and it all packs neatly into the box for storage
and I use a domestic oven for doing the baking, as it hasnt had any food cooked in it for over 10 years, and showing the bracket I powder coated tonight.
