We must have Bin men in our area that are forum reading welding enthusiasts...
My better half said she had never seen bin men like them yesterday morning, searching through the bins in our road like there were gold bars in there.. ... Well if you had read my post from a few days previous you would have known there very nearly was a large yellow bar of sorts in there..
However, thanks to this forum both I and the esab have been saved, for I found a new friend to teach me the basics of tig welding... I think the
most frustrating thing was that I wasn't so far away from achieving decent results myself.. Paul gave me the benefit of his many years of experience and now I think it's ok to say, I can actually produce decent ( albeit slightly wobbly) welds of my own making..
Thank you Paul, and thank you one and all for persuading me to keep going when I was so close to quiting ...
I'm sorry to those bin men for wasting their time and for raising their hopes too..
