I use this stuff. excellent when dry. This with normal Xylene/Toulene thinners. Turn the pressure up on the gun to about 40-50psi which helps spray this thick paint.
Clean guns and stuff immediately. Dont breathe it in and get a high quality 3M charcoal mask ideally a '2k proof' air fed set up. Dont mess about.
I am using a Fast Mover FMT 3006 LVLP Gun which is designed to operate at about 25PSI at the gun, Max PSI is 90, will this gun operate at 40 - 50 PSI?
I have a 3M 7500 with ABEK1 and P3 filter combination so should be OK.
As I was using my first ever brand new gun I gave it a damm good clean, Pot life is 1 -2 hours and I was conscious that as I was spraying I needed to clean the gun within the hour or so.
Question:
If you are doing a long ish spray session and require more than one gun fill would you clean the gun in between refills? What I mean would there be a chance of the residue from the first fill going off in the gun?
