Just wondering what most people's take on this is in relation to times at which noisy activities (DIY based - nothing else mind, fnar fnar !) can be carried out.
There are no time guidelines for my area, I know other UK councils seem to vary wildly, 8am-10pm Mon to Fri, 8am to 7pm Sat and 9am to 5pm Sun is a rough idea.
I am normally doing some kind of diy work most weekends and have a whingy old spinster next door who has already complained once before when I was working at 11am on Sunday as I was 'disturbing her lie in'.
Anyone else had to quote any 'rules' as there doesn't seem to be any conclusive info and it seems to vary wildly.
