My first major commission: abstract geometric shape. Completely opposite to everything I've ever done before!
Taken far too long as my welding has been rubbish & I have to keep grinding & filling, grinding & filling...
However, nearly there. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get over to a metal fabricator to bend the front panel for me. I was going to wing it & bend it myself round a stump or something, but decided I don't want to risk it having any angles/facets in the curve. Unless I really don't like the quote I'm given as the budget's been eroded by various extra costs already.
It will be finished in RAL 5012 bright gadget blue. I had worked out a coating schedule I think, but can't remember off the top of my head.
