Hacksaw.Out of interest, if a stainless thread locks up, is there a way to free it up again that doesn't involve a grinder?

I was always taught to lubricate any thread.
Makes me laugh when people replace all the bolts on cars in a resto with stainless steel .
I'm guesssing we've all done summat similar at some point. I know I have some stainless bolts to strip from one piece I did years ago, and replace with the cleaned up originals else similar, for the originals which are too far gone.
Stainless is one of those things which can easily catch people out. It seems a good choice when one knows no different. End of the day, how many people actually know what a cowbag stainless bolts can be? I'm sure plenty on here likely wouldn't know about galling etc. if it wasn't mentioned occasionally on here, for example.
It's actually quite alarming that people just use any old bolt to do a job without knowing even the difference between a bolt and a screw !!!
I know of many that will use a 12.9 bolt simply because it's rated higher, no thought to the fact that it may be more brittle.
Fasteners are a science on there own !!!
