Hi everyone.
I'm trying against the odds to keep my aging Isuzu Trooper on the road and after spending £100 on welding being done to the chassis (3 small plates) I've decided it would be cheaper if I bought the equipment to do the rest myself (mostly chassis work).
I've played around with an Arc welder before and I was pretty good at oxy acetylene welding although I haven't done any in 20 years or so - but I've never done any MIG.
Anyway, I'm on a tight budget and there's a "Cosmo mig 100" welder on ebay within 20 miles of where I live. It's described as "as-new" so I'm hoping it will work fine. Will this be up to the job?
Are there any known issues with this make and model of welder?
