Made by Motad, Neta was the black chrome range. Was Area Sales Manager for quite a few years.
PS they are not stickers, I persuaded a young lady to pose for photos, just for advertising you understand.

This cannot end with something as mundane as this!I’m almost embarrassed to suggest something this boring but you could hire a forklift for a day

I wasn't impressed with the mild steel Neta, the guts rotted out of mine within a couple of years. However, the stainless Motad that replaced it was a joy - more than 30 years on it was still fine, but getting a bit thin on the downpipes. Also picked up another SS system NOS for the other GS.Originally in London, systems were shipped to Walsall for plating then returned to London. Production was moved to Walsall as there were more skilled metalworkers in the Midlands and transport costs were increasing. We made all the original Bloor Triumph systems as well. They were also the only UK manufacturer to be allowed to do their own German TUV certification.

I tried to track down another SS system just after it turned out Motad had gone toes-up, but no success. However, I obtained a chromed system (which will probably rot its guts out eventually).
Alpha, Laser?I had my GS for about 10 years, it came with a Piper system which sounded great until it rotted, I can't remember the make of it's replacement, any ideas?

Back in the days I knew the owner of Motad quite well . Alan Baker was a good bloke and always with a good sense of humour. I think the name Motad came from a previous company of his dealing in MOTor ADvertising. Car racing etc. Also a quick road racer to factory standards. Passes due to throat cancer I believe .I think their factory was in Walsall?, I went there to pick one up for my GS850.
