Work gave me $2k - what to buy?

I’ve been given $2000 to be claimed back (no cash lump sum) on receipt of receipts for tools purchased. What do I buy?

I’ve got infinite socket sets, spanners, all sorts of things, metric and imperial. I mostly work with metric fasteners on the ship.

So far I’ve spent $177 on a set of 1/2 Koken wobble extensions. I’d like to get the Wera torx keys to match the excellent hex key set I bought. Maybe some ratchet spanners? I have a lot of tooling already. I like Wera, Koken, Knipex for work.

It has to go through the purchasing people so it can’t be silly stuff like lathe tools or car parts, and they can also request to see what I bought to make sure I’m not just claiming for the cash.

Anyway, thoughts, ideas, I have over $1800 left in the kitty.

What about an impact gun?
3/8" for most things but maybe 1/2" for working on big boats!

You cant go wrong with a pair of these.

Koken attack driver? But I'd guess you probably already have an impact driver. Another neat item is the Koken stud removers/installers.

Sadly already have an excellent Milwaukee m12 1/2 and the similarly excellent m12 impact hex driver.

You cant go wrong with a pair of these.

It’s hard eh! You want to spend it but you already have the gear Got a few Sykes stud removers, the set is nice… maybe some Wera screwdrivers to replace my blackened ones…

Screwdrivers sound like a good idea.

Housing and shaft retaining ring removing tools. The agrivation it saves is all Yours. Stripped bolt head removal tools.

If you already have some Milwaukee could you expand on that. M12 ratchets. A few more different size impact wrenches. Grease gun. Radio/speaker, blower hoover. If your working on plumbing side of things maybe even the stick pump would come in handy.

When I worked on big boats, you could fix anything with a selection of bacho shifters (cheap ones were float tested) and a selection of hammers.

Facom make some nice pullers

You could spend a few hundred quid on Knipex circlip pliers in all the different sizes if you'd get any use out of them.
Decent files would be a nice way to spend a bit of someone else's money too.

Sykes hydraulic pullers are pretty handy. Think that they did them up to 15 ton rating....
Or there's the larger sizes of Roper Whitney punch, which go up to the No.20.
Punches a half inch hole through half inch mild steel if required...
