Picked these up at a carboot this morning, some house clearance company (they always have a large and varied assortment of stuff) and this week they had cleared out an engineers house (I know!). They had all sorts of stuff ranging from a box full of milling cutters (circular bladed type) to a box of various drills with all sorts of MT sleeves, massive lathe cutters among many other things, and a few measuring things.
Now if I'd had more money on me I would have bought a lot more, there was a 300mm vernier height gauge, a 300mm depth gauge, a set of 600mm vernier calipers, micrometers and all sorts and then this.
Initially I thought it was for measuring the thickness and protrusion of a turned flange, but a flange vernier brings nothing on Google.
Anyone know what it is and was it worth buying it?
Matt
