mornin all!
After a bit of advice on how to approach this one - a few months ago we bought some made to measure blinds for a velux type window along with an extendable opening pole.
I'm very happy with the blinds and I was happy with the pole until I came to use it the other day and the end fell off. Looking at the pole end it has a screw on fitting and a threaded end, but the 2 are obviously different sizes.
To overcome this they had wrapped masking tape around the threaded end to make it a snug fit (not very though !)- obviously I'm not very happy about this and emailed the company but the reply I got was "they're all like that, if you want to return it you can do so at your cost because it's not faulty".
What would be your next move?? I'm fairly certain they will just keep insisting it's not faulty, but I think it's just not fit for purpose? I payed via PayPal if that makes any difference.
